You can now enable group bookings for your court booking sheet. If you would like your users to be able to book for themselves and also guests then you will need to activate this feature from within your court booking settings.
Group bookings are a great feature to enable your members to list who is playing with them. If your venue allows them to bring a guest you can also add guest fees.
Step 1:
Firstly, select the Booking Module from the Admin area. Then select 'Settings' and 'Manage basic settings'.
Step 2:
Now scroll down to 'Group booking' and turn the toggle on so it is blue.
Ensure that you scroll down and select the blue 'Save settings' button, do not exit your screen without doing this.
Step 3:
You can now update your court booking schedules for any group bookings. For more information on setting up your schedules, Click Here.
Select 'Manage schedules' from within your court booking settings and select 'Manage' beside the schedule you wish to add a group booking for.
Step 4:
Click 'Edit' for whatever ruleset you wish to edit.
Step 5:
Within your ruleset, there are now two additional columns with fields for you to enter group-related costs.
You can enter a cost for the user who is making the booking (member/non-member) then the guest fee will be for the additional player they add when making the booking. The member will be asked to pay for the guest.
In the example above:
'Everyone' (i.e. non-members) can book the court for $10 and have up to 4 people on the court.
'All Members' can book the court for free but if they would like to invite a guest (non-member) it will be $5.
You can also include a court cost for the booking and enter a maximum capacity for the reservation.
