Stripe and ClubSpark charge a small transaction fee for processing payments for your membership packages, courses, classes and receiving online payments for court bookings.
In order for your courses and classes to display on the public website and receive online payments you must register an account with our payment provider Stripe.
You can register with Stripe from within the Booking, Membership or Coaching modules. You will see a reminder at the top of the page with instructions on how to register as well as further payment information (if you haven't previously registered).
Select the 'Setup your account' link.
Select the 'Register with Stripe' button to begin the registration process.
If you already have a Stripe account that you wish to use with your ClubSpark account - follow the link to 'Setup your account' and when you reach the Stripe pages, use the same email that is linked to your stripe account.
Stripe will then take you through and collect information about you and your business (club/coaching business).
Business Address - is the address of your venue.
Type of Business - tennis venues will mostly fall under the 'Individual / Sole Trader' category, however other categories are: Nonprofit (for a registered Charity), Partnership/LLP, Private Limited Company.
In the section shown below - you will be asked to enter information about You. Here you need to enter the name of the person completing the online form. This is required for verification purposes (to make sure someone isn't setting up a false account) - this person can be anyone who the venue / coaching organisation nominates to set up the Stripe account.
In the section shown below, you will need to enter your product (e.g. Tennis Club: we sell memberships, coaching courses, tennis court bookings etc) and your Business website - this will be automatically entered with your ClubSpark URL - this is needed to link the Stripe account to your account to take payments for court bookings and coaching courses.
Bank Details - these are the venue / coaching organisation's details.
Customer support details - these are the venue / coaching organisation's details that will appear next to any transaction on a bank or credit card statement. Easily recognisable details here will help prevent people getting confused about transactions showing on their statement and requesting chargebacks against your venue.
Summary Page - this is where you will get the opportunity to check all the details you have entered, make changes where needed and confirm your acceptance to proceed. Please review this page carefully.
Next, you should click on the link to read the 'Services Agreement' to make sure you understand the agreement.
Clicking 'Done' will then return you to the ClubSpark admin page.

Please Note:
If you have a bank account for your organisation that requires authorization from multiple people (2 or more), it should still be fine to connect to your Stripe account.
The one thing you’ll need to do is ensure that everyone who’s authorization is required for direct debit withdrawals to work from that account gives their signature and approval through your bank. This includes your financial institution as well. Stripe do not present an option for multiple signatories from their end, or paper instructions, because they don’t require this for connecting a bank account.
