Unsubscribe Button within the Email
In all emails sent out via the ClubSpark tools, the Unsubscribe button is found within the email as below.
If the member chooses this option will prevent all emails from being delivered. The only way to unblock this is to raise this to ClubSpark customer service to be unblocked or via your email provider and whitelist the email address: mail@clubspark.kiwi
You will be able to see members who have unsubscribed if you see the status blocked in the email log:

The only way to unblock this is to raise this to ClubSpark customer service to be unblocked or via your email provider and whitelist the email address: mail@clubspark.kiwi
Unsubscribe via Profile
The other way to unsubscribe is via the member profile- doing it this way if the user does unsubscribe then they will still receive any automated emails such as payment renewals, reminders etc.. The unsubscribe option will impact emails that you as admins generate, such as newsletters.
To unsubscribe, the member will click on their name found on the top right of the screen.
Step 1: Then select Profile
Step 2: Then select Edit Profile
Step 3: Then select - Your Privacy and consents - check the box to unsubscribe and then update my preference's.
To re-subscribe - complete the same and uncheck the box.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
You may come across the following examples:
-
A user informs you that they did not receive an email sent from your venue;
- You have sent an email but when checking your email log a recipient does not appear in the log at all.
In the examples above, the first way to check would be via the contacts module. If you search for the contact, there is a column in the contacts module called 'Unsubscribed' if this shows as 'Yes', then the user has unsubscribed from your emails.
If you cannot see the 'Unsubscribed' column then you will have a filter on your columns, above the column headers you have a 'More Columns' option, select the arrow and a criteria list will appear where you can select and deselect what information you would like to view in the contacts module.
In the example below, the user has unsubscribed:
If you check the email log and you see they are blocked. You will need to ask them to White List the email again. Depending on the email carrier will show you how to whitelist an email. For example: Yahoo -
The email to white list is : mail@clubspark.kiwi If this doesn't work then raise a ticket with support.
- Open Yahoo Mail and select Settings.
- Select Filters and Add.
- Name the filter and add the sender email address.
- Select to send all mail to Inbox.
- Select Save and Save.
